Deposits & Full Payments All reservations must be confirmed by payment with a minimum of 50% deposit of the total tariff, at the time of booking. This payment will be processed on the credit card provided unless alternative arrangements are made. Reservations are not confirmed until cleared receipt of the deposit is received. The balance of your booking tariff will be deducted up to 21 days prior to your arrival from the credit card provided upon booking, unless alternative payment arrangements have been made (EFT or cash on arrival).
For all bookings made within 21 days of the arrival date, FULL payment is required when making the booking. If paying a deposit via EFT, a credit card number will need to be provided to go on file for a security guarantee.

Cancellation & Refunds Cancellations 21 days prior to check in date incur a 100% cancellation fee. No alterations can be made within the 21 days prior to arrival unless to extend stay or to increase guest numbers. A rebooking fee of $35 applies to all changes made to original bookings. Our cancellation policy also applies to bookings made using gift vouchers. Transfer of a booking can only be made to available times and to the value of the original booking and are at the discretion of Goldfield Holiday Apartments. Any increase in tariffs must be covered by the guest.
Late check-ins, early check-outs, and no-shows will initiate liability for the full amount of the tariff.
No refunds will be issued after a guest has checked in.

Guests Per Apartment Our 2 bedroom apartments sleep a maximum of 5. When two guests require the use of the second bedroom a one off payment of $35 applies.
Boutique Apartment 6 sleeps a maximum of 2 (adults only).
Do not exceed the number you have confirmed or you may be vacated. Inform the owners if your numbers increase prior to your arrival date.

Minimum Night Bookings A minimum of 2 nights stay apply.
Please Note: There are other minimum night requirements for peak periods and special events - refer to availability calendar. Single nights cannot be booked online, however from time to time these maybe available upon request.

Check In & Check Out Times Check In time is from 2pm.
Check Out time is 10am on day of your departure. Late checkouts maybe arranged and may incur extra charges.

Children Because we care about your children and have direct access to the river from Goldfields we ask that they be supervised around the property at all times.
Porta cotsa and high chairs are available at no extra cost. Linen is not provided for cots.

Cleaning & Damages We expect our guests will leave the apartment in a clean tidy state as found upon arrival. If extra cleaning is required over and above what is expected, extra charges will apply (at a rate of $50 per hour) and be charged to your credit card. Damaged property will be charged accordingly.

Personal Items Left Behind Guests will be contacted to arrange return of said items. Items will be returned via COD for collection.

Smoking Goldfield Holiday Apartments is smoke free inside apartments, ashtrays are provided for guest use outside.

Pets We are unable to accommodate pets as this property as it is not fenced. Please contact us directly to arrange a stay with Guide Dogs.

How many apartments are on site? Five 2 Bedroom apartments with designated parking for one vehicle

We are planning a longer stay, is there a laundry close by? We have a fully equipped guest laundry on site for your convenience

We have a small child, do we need to bring a cot? We love children so we have a cot and high chair available on request (please note your request at time of booking)

Is there a playground nearby? We have a Children’s playground under the shade of our grand old Oak tree

We are an active family, where can we go to walk, ride and swim? Our lovely lawned gardens lead right to the banks of the Ovens River, intersect the popular Canyon Walk and lead directly to the 94km long sealed Rail Trail

Can I bring my pet? Unfortunately, our property is not securely fenced and therefore unsuitable for your furry friends, however, we may be able to assist with accommodating Guide Dog’s upon request.

What time is Check in/Check out? Check in for all of our apartments is from 2pm (or earlier by arrangement).
We ask that you Check out by 10am to ensure that we have ample time to prepare the apartment for our next guests. -
What if we cannot arrive until late evening? We are very happy to ensure that your apartment is comfortable and welcoming for your late arrival and only ask that you let us know in advance that you will be arriving after hours.

Are the owners available if I need something? Samantha and Marco are normally always on site during business hours, if they are absent for any reason they are contactable via the after-hours phone located outside the office for your convenience
